Vastu Shastra is the scientific study of directions, which aims at creating equilibrium by balancing the different elements of nature and using them for the benefit of humans. There is a great importance of Vastu Shastra in our life, as it paves the way for happiness and prosperity to knock our doors. Vastu is involved with the mind and body of a human. As no organism can function without energy, it is relevant for the involvement of energies in Vastu Shastra. In this blog, we are going to discuss three energies in Vastu. Those are Global, Telluric and Cosmic.

Cosmic Energy is responsible for nourishing order and balance throughout the Cosmos. It makes up you and everything else in existence and it is the space between all that exists.
At the time of a child’s birth, He/She entered the physical realm as a speck of Cosmic Consciousness, a seed of the seraphic, a spiritual energy manifest in the Earth’s plane to acknowledge life, and to develop, promote and progress. Other names of Cosmic Energy are; super-consciousness, higher consciousness, or supreme consciousness, chi, prana, and life force energy. Cosmic Energy is very important for living as a physical and spiritual being.
It is the key to living a happy, healthy and prosperous life. It is the key to enlightenment; spiritually and psychically, and it is the key to ascending and growing consciousness. Cosmic Energy is essential for life to continue for an individual. It is the fuel for life and being. It is also essential for Happiness, peace of mind and contentment. Cosmic Energy heals and enhances your mind, body, and spirit when you connect with it and it uplifts understanding and intuition. Cosmic Energy is always attainable, but there are really only two ways to receive it. Firstly, Cosmic Energy is attainable through meditation. During meditation, your consciousness is able to excel in your body and mind, allowing Cosmic Energy to flow into your being.
The second way to experience Cosmic Energy happens naturally through deep sleep. But, in our fast, hectic and chaotic world drains on our energy, the Cosmic Energy we experience during sleep is not sufficient to even replace that which we mislay.

Telluric energy relates to the energy governing the telluric zone of the body which starts from the navel to the feet. Telluric means land, territory or earth. Telluric energy starts at the center of the earth and rises up, through the layers of the stone and flows, through the groundwater and underwater aquifers, through the minerals and layers of fossils, and into the crust of the earth. In human beings, the telluric energy is associated with the “lower” portions. These lower portions are the belly, the hips, and the feet and the entire lower half of the human body—especially the womb. Human experiences are associated with the telluric energies include passion, love, sexuality, and power. Unbalanced telluric energy usually shows up in its lower forms in many humans, like hedonistic behavior, substance abuse, and so on. The word ‘telluric’ comes from the Latin word ‘tellūs’ which means “earth” or “Land”.
This energy (telluric energy) is contained within the interior of the planet earth and it’s current pervades the surface of the planet at a very lower altitude. It can be accessed and used for various purposes such as healing, vitality, fecundity, prosperity and other useful benefits. They are very important for stability in life and financial improvement. Telluric currents result from both natural causes and human activity and are responsible for the shaping of our world as we know it. They travel near the surface of the earth and interact in a very complex pattern to manifest their life-giving properties. In places of high telluric power, Mother Nature provides energy and cosmic messages to us and is also more responsive to meditations, prayers, or incantations. Telluric energy is essentially the power-source of all magic performed on earth by those who know how to handle it.
I believe that the correct use of this energy and learning how to control it is a key knowledge that can unlock many secrets and give us a way of living in harmony with Nature as well as help us solve many of our human problems.

The concept of Vastu Purush stems from Vastu Shastra, the science of architecture. Vastu Purush is the ruling deity of a residential structure. He oversees harmony among the residents.
The ancient science of Vastu deals with the idea of harmonizing and exacting the maximum benefits from the house by managing energies and influences of Five Elements, Planets, Chakras and Geometry of the structure. Ancient seers believed that Vastupurush should be prayed to before residing in a house. Therefore, it is vital that we live in a house based on the principles of Vastu Shastra. Lastly, it is important to note that when there is energetic aggression in Vastu due to various doshas it creates a corresponding energetic imbalance in the human body and hence it is imperative that a Vastu space should be a corrected one for good health, prosperity, and well-being of its inhabitants.
