As per the dictionary, the term “Ley Line” is a supposedly straight line connecting prehistoric or ancient sites across the landscape. It is also associated by some with lines of energy.
Theories:
There are several theories regarding the existence of Ley Lines, and they were first discovered by Alfred Watkins, a landscape photographer. He noticed the existence of a network of straight roads that went through a range of ancient prehistoric medieval structures. He believed that our ancestors built and used the prominent features in the landscape as points of navigation or trade routes. As per his theory the British people would travel on such straight lines using the marked points along the landscape to guide them in their journey.
Subsequently in the years to come, Ley Lines were connected to the sacred significance or mystical power. The intersection points of two or more Leys are called “Ley Centers” and that they are believed by some to resonate to a powerful psychic or mystical energy. These Ley Lines were conceived as lines of power, which was accessed by our ancient people but now lost to the common man.
Another theory propagated that UFO’s use these magnetic or electrical paths for their movement on the earth’s surface.
This leads us to two important questions. Were these sacred sites and monuments specifically built at these locations by ancient people with the lost knowledge of powerful unknown earth energies called “Ley Lines”?
Or, were they able to create “Ley Lines” at these locations at will and thereby transform them into Sacred Sites and Power Spaces?
The phenomena of Ley Lines spread across the world and the City of Seattle in the USA gave a grant of US$ 5000/- to a group of dowsers for creating a Ley Line map of the area.
Negative Ley Lines:
According to our research, there are the other Ley Lines which are known as “Negative Ley Lines”. As the name itself suggests, these negative ley lines have a flow of energy which is unhealthy and extremely detrimental for the inhabitant as well as his habitat or Space. Such lines were always positive by nature but were transformed to negative either by an act of man or when it traverses spaces like dirty canals, hospitals, prison spaces e.t.c.
Such energies are addressed as Geopathic Stress in India and all such lines are blocked by conventional healers. A word is of caution such that one needs to tackle this differently as these lines were Positive and got transformed to the negative.
