What is an energy vortex?

An energy vortex is a swirling centre of energy strongly concentrated at a specific point on earth. It contains more earthly energy than any normal place in the world.
The energy radiates in a cone-shaped spiral clockwise or anti-clockwise, depending on the type of vortex. There are two kinds of energy vortexes that are found in nature—positive and negative.
It is commonly believed that energy vortexes exist where ley lines intersect or the random lines of natural earth energy that make up the electromagnetic field of the earth.

Positive Energy Vortexes

Positive vortexes are the ones where energy spirals upward in a clockwise motion and this in turn creates an enhancing flow of energy and in the process promotes delta brain wave activity. They are often referred to as “a place where heaven meets earth.”. Since ancient times, priests and shamans believed that spending time in a positive vortex could result in an enhanced power of meditation and creativity and thereby lead to experiences of spiritual awakening, enlightenment, and self-realization.
They are known to be found where Ley Lines intersect at a perfect 90-degree angle. Ley Lines are straight lines connecting ancient or prehistoric sites as also meridians that connect the acupuncture points on the earth.
People tend to gather and move around in locations where positive vortexes are found. Dogs are attracted by them and have a tendency to sleep there. This energy is very good for meditating, working, and indulging in yoga but at the same time it is too energizing for one to sleep in it. If one sleeps in a positive vortex, one has to make sure that the head is not in the centre of it, but only in the auric field of the Positive Vortex.

Negative Energy Vortexes

Negative vortexes are the ones where energy spirals downward in a anti-clockwise motion and hence tend to create a draining or depleting energy. Hence, they interfere with the energy centers of the body or Chakras and are believed to cause mild to severe health problems and even emotional issues, such as nightmares and depression. Negative vortexes can also create a lot of chaos in the area in which they are located. While these areas can create stress for humans, cats tend to be attracted to them in the same way that they get attracted to geopathic stress lines.
They are usually created when Ley Lines intersect at an angle other than 90 degrees. In Germany, researchers have identified Negative vortexes with the crossing of Hartmann Lines and water veins or subterranean faults. Such areas are contaminated and hence disruptive to the human body and best avoided.
