Shape of the Room: The first step is to check the shape of every room. The rooms should be of a square or rectangular shape as prescribed by Vastu texts. The shape affects the energy flow.

The best location for a Master Bedroom is the South west direction. Couples sleeping in this bedroom are likely to enjoy harmonious relationships and enjoy good health and stability. A bedroom in the Southeast can most likely result in quarrels and acidity problems. A bedroom in the North east is prescribed for senior citizens due to subtle energies in that direction.
